But during spring-summer you can average 15-25hr if you're new and 25-45 if you know whAt you're doing

It's wack right now in L.A.. Good you won't be doing it full time. Vets in game claim it'll be pick up in late Jan and when many quit. But I think the glory days are gone.

I live in Pittsburgh and I didn't find it worth after one trip because my car was brand new at the time.
Out in San Francisco, everyone n they mama do lyft, uber, or something of the sorts on the side and they swear by it.
I met a couple Uber drivers who said they were making $1500 a week out there. This one woman could of been a spokesman for Uber how highly she spoke of them. She said her mom, brother, and 4 sisters all do it and they run it like a small family business. This is their only jobs.

It's the same cycle every year though, which why I advise people not to quit their current gig or job, especially around this time of year and do uber full time, unless they're really good with their finances and spending habits.March through Aug this year in L.A. was

This time of year will leave most people in debt and struggling. Oh well people never learn, no matter how much you warn them....
And honestly if you're a true hustler the busiest and most lucrative times work aren't even 9-5.
So people can really do both. I know when it picks up again I'm trying average 250-400 between my day job and uber....
I heard door dash is good, the only prob is getting shifts. Same with Amazon prime. They limit the amount of drivers for deliveries, unlike lyft and uber.
Uber takes care of its home base. Plus people in SF don't play, they'll quickly cause a protest and be disruptive, if they feel unfairly treated, the same can't be said for the rest of the country. It's more a race to the bottom....
With that said, during summer I was averaging 1400-1700k a week, during hours before 10am and after 6pm. So it's feasible to still have a day job, which I recommend.
Anyone who thinks that possible right now, during this time of year simply isn't doing their hw or has no sense of supply and demand seasonal changes...
