I’ve been thinking of doing this - well UberEats or Doordash. How’s the wear on your car? I’ve read that’s the main issue with doing this.
Yeah you gotta do all your reg scheduled maintenance. Im a truck driver so i just apply ny trucking skills with ride share.

What is the process in signing up? I know your car has to be at least a certain year, but what else comes of the initial process? To my understanding, they don’t hold conventional interviews.

It’s real easy. Car verification, back ground check for no bad driving record and probably felonies or some shyt. And you on the road.

If you Aren’t driving on both Uber and Lyft at the same time you’re doing it wrong. I was making about $45hr in Houston by just switching between platforms whenever a ride came up. Double the money and opportunities instead of waiting on one app to give me another ride. I only did it for 3 months and had a lot of fun making side change and only driving about 4/5 hours a day. I never drove nights or weekends but if I did I would’ve brought in a loooot more. I grew up in this city though so it’s a cheat code compared to regular drivers that are mostly immigrants since I know where people congregate here and need rides at.

Easiest money if it was slow, head to the city courthouse because no one wants to drive downtown or pay for and find parking. I would always get $30/40 rides from there or near there since most airport rides were from hotel visitors downtown.

I'm tryna get down with the squad. I got a meeting session with a Lyft driver leader tomorrow. What's the pros and cons? I already got a full time job and I'm not hurting for money, I'm just doing it to stay busy and pick up a lil change doing so.
I went to that meeting session and lost interest ASAP :mjlol:

shyt use to do both but I stick to Uber now. They pay, better surges, better promotions and it’s not
Any drivers cause of Covid so you literally get rides halfway thru dropping someone off.
