I was a huge fan of his during his run from 96-02. Rapper Gone Bad is my favorite album of his. Folks clown, but he was official, never took his foot off the gas, and cut his own lane with no fukks given. To be out here during this time was amazing. I snuck off house arrest to grab the Ronald Dregan/Genie of the Lamp combo when it dropped. This is when he really started getting weird and shortly after these albums dropped people started jumping on his hyphy wave, even though his Thizzelle Washington album preceded them by a couple years. Once STUPID hit the radio a few months later, he really started to make a name for himself on a much bigger level than he previously had.
