My daughter just got to use a phone in the UK when class begins the phones are turned off and put in a box.

There are more than enough tablets and learning aides in school that you don't have to reach for you phone during a lesson.

fukk off. My children have rights wherever they are.

Y’all love playing lawyer. If kids are allowed their phones on school property he has no “right” to take it.

Even if the district policy is that a teacher can confiscate a phone that does not mean it will stand up in court. Courts are not run by some school or district rule.

He also physically touched her and ran away from her because he didn’t want to have to answer to her. He is the adult supposedly in charge.

Also :mjpls: at the bolded.
:mjlol:

You do realize students rights are limited in school

If the teacher or staff member take a students phone they can and will if a student violates a rule

Yes we are taking the side of a professional educator over that of a mentally handicapped child who brought a weapon to school.

Who raised you and how do we make sure it doesn’t happen again?

Nikkas really trying to make a race argument over a student macing their teacher.

The Coli has a double digit IQ problem forreal :dahell:

Y’all defending this girl is exactly why these kids act like this. There is no respect for authority. When we were younger, you didn’t even speak to an adult like that. You’re expecting a teacher to have more patience than a parent. His job is to teach the curriculum, and control the class.

I went to high school in the mid 2000s. Nikkas got put out of class just for talking back to the teacher. I can't imagine what would have happened if a kid maced a teacher :picard:

These new school rules are different.

I remember when muthafukkas couldn't even chew gum in class. Now people really saying a teacher has no right to confiscate electronics that are distracting the students from working?? See the problem is the parents. As u can see. shyt I remember at work when cell phones used to have to be put in lockers and weren't permitted on the floor.

or wear hats in class :francis:

brought all those new era fitteds for nothing
