First time listening to this guy. Off first spin dude was spitting but the production ain’t it for me. Maybe it’ll grow on me with more spins

I said Mos specifically because of the song writing and the singing voice. Not rapping wise. With that said personally I prefer Benny any day of the week over Mach cause Benny shyt is vivid as hell. A lot of Mach's work is just syllable heavy technical rappity rap shyt. He was in his bag with this one though but his shyt just don't connect the same way Benny shyt do. Benny actually is talking about something, Mach just be saying anything and I get it, it's how he says it but that shyt don't be about much.

I think Mach has a lot of substance

I think sometimes it can get lost in the coded lyrics or the monotone voice, but I’ve always thought he had a pretty broad scope of subject matter.

In fact this take is kind of the opposite from what I think. And I love Benny. But I wish he’d actually do more personal and introspective songs.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but Griselda has always been real loose about who is and who isn’t in the crew. West and Conway were saying Boldy James and Alchemist were both in the crew before Boldy signed, and Conway has been adamant even recently that Griselda has never been a group, and was always a crew. Also, I remember that people considered Benny as a member before he signed too.

So even if Mach never signs again with Griselda, I think people might look at him as being in the crew. I mean, when you’ve got a handful of Griselda tags on your album, and it’s produced by the founder, I think that’s gonna be the perception.

I agree. Conway has opened up too and really seemed to find a lane that’s going beyond the goon bars, and becoming a good A&R of his own label. His artists are unique and different, and not just Diet Coke versions of himself.

I like that Benny is trying different sounds and production, but I wish he’d open up more. He did a little here on this 9th Wonder joint. His verse here is great. I really like this content.
