This shaping up to be their strongest year since 2018 but they ALWAYS manage to drop 2-3 quality projects a year.

Also he's been dropping some of his previous albums on streaming, the ones that used to go for outrageous prices.

I noticed this, it seems like he smartened up. You can't have Drake making posts of your album and nikkas can't go back and find your older shyt to listen to.

For real he was stupid as fukk for doing that. Hope he puts his lyrics up, even if he makes his own site for them. I don't speak kreyol so some shyt I'd like to translate.

I don't think it's stupid. I don't support it, because to me the whole thing seems like swindling people out of their money, calling them investors and whatever when we all know damn well there is no ROI on a $1000 vinyl, let alone a digital download. But I do believe him and Fahim and others made big money that way, and invested it instead to make more. Imagine you have a fan base of a couple hundred to maybe a couple thousands who are willing to spend 100's if not 1000's on single pieces of merchandise. All the while building up this image of mystique, ready to capitalize the moment Griselda got big enough (not suggesting he isn't genuinely down with WSG). While you won't see me spending 100's on Mach merchandise, I respect the way he did it. He perfected the blueprint for independent artists imo (a blueprint that was created by others obviously).

Edit: And with the lyrics, he was right too imo. Genius said they got a deal with the major labels and they all get a piece. Mach being independent doesn't, so he said fukk that, I'm not letting these nerds fukk up my lyrics for free. Thus adding to his image of mystique as well.
