To be real, this is bullshyt.
I hate the idea of some aspiring young black man being gunned down
for no reason just as much as the next man, I just have no idea why this has
to be an "either,or" kinda thing.
I can't be disgusted by pointless murder and rampant violence AS WELL AS racists
who're far removed from the conflict judging a very human situation through goofy
opinions and beliefs derived from government statistics ?
Or a racist whose actively disenfranchised minorities but employed
ball players making them rich and prosperous simply because rappers have
violent lyrics ?

Who decided that this was the ONLY WAY to be ?

Yes it does, and I agree with you. However, that still doesn't excuse the lack of accountability from within the Black community.
1. no one said it did
2. that is total bullshyt, the black community does what it can against very powerful occupying and antagonistic forces (like housing discrimination hence more reason why we can gleefully and righteously enjoy Sterling's "demise")

The point is, people are NOT mad at black on black crime. You can point to a few minority of blacks who will speak out but the vast majority of blacks won't say a damn thing about black on black crime.

Why Don't Black People Protest 'Black-on-Black Violence'? - Ta-Nehisi Coates - The Atlantic

black people just love violence is all

No particular order:

Housing discrimination
Predatory lending & lack of access to capital for Black businesses
The criminal justice system disproportionately focusing on Black crime
Education reform
Gerrymandered districts that reduce our voting power down to the smallest fraction possible

Irrelevant. We need to focus on black women wearing weaves instead. That's our number 1 issue.

I've already addressed that in this thread. Just because you can show me these programs doesn't mean they are supported by the black community at large. What evidence do you have to show that black people actually support these programs? I never see black people talking about these programs, whether here on the coli, any other black forum online, or in real life.

You're missing the point. The point is, black people do NOT care about black on black crime. This is absolute fact and if you don't believe me prove me wrong. Just because you can show me some programs doesn't mean anything if black people as a whole never support or talk about em.

Have you done some sort of polling or is this simply your personal opinion ?
Actually what evidence do you have for your own assertions ? YOU HAVE NONE !
Even then there's more evidence CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU BELIEVE than there is
that supports it !
I don't even need you to answer this, I know your views are based on your already low opinion
of African Americans.

:salute: @tmonster for taking time to post an article showing a small
example of the no doubt countless marches against violence in inner city communities
over the past 30 years or so.

You don't know that, you're pulling that out of your ass let's be honest.
And you've only come to this conclusion based off of what you see in
MEDIA, and the REACTION to that media by black Americans, media by the way which is not BLACK CONTROLLED,
something you continue to conveniently overlook
