The first one isn't that bad. I mean, it might fall up short if you go in on the hype of the series as a whole because it's the two sequels that defined pop culture, but the first one is a cool little cult movie.

May not be but it still put me to sleep at 9 in the morning after a full 8 hours of sleep:whoknows:

And yeah first one bored the fukk out of me. The Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome are unadulterated dope

Which movie in the trilogy does the Tupac & Dr. Dre "California Love" music video an homage to?

The Tupac "California Love" did FLAWLESSLY portray the Mad Max movies and their style. I remember thinking, oh snap, Pac is a Mad Max fan, LOL. That video is beyond epic and Classic cause it was like a Hood Mad Max.

The cinematography and color palettes in the trailers blow my fukking mind...

I got to find some way to go see this alone instead of with my wife and her friends who talk all through every fukking movie :scust:

I purposely sit us around the shadiest people I see in a theater in hopes that somebody gets up and smacks one of these loudmouth chicks...

So far no one has been able to stand up to them and save me though :mjcry:

"This madly entertaining new action extravaganza energetically kicks more ass, as well as all other parts of the anatomy, than any film ever made by a 70-year-old - and does so far more skillfully than those turned out by most young turks half his age."

"Exhilarating... Pretty much the entire film is a screaming death race down Fury Road."

"Thirty years have passed since our last visit to George Miller's sun-scorched post-apocalyptic wasteland, and yet "worth the wait" still seems a puny response to the two hours of ferocious, unfettered B-movie bliss offered by "Mad Max: Fury Road."

"In the same way that the original 1979 Mad Max was the Citizen Kane of gut-bucket Australian exploitation cinema, Mad Max: Fury Road may well be the Götterdämerung of drive-in movies."\

"In the battle of the 2015 behemoths, the maxed-out madness of Mad Max: Fury Road sets an extraordinarily high bar - then pole-vaults clean over it and smashes the entire rig to smithereens."

No surprises there unless you've been living in a cave or lack basic comprehension of recognizing quality when it's right before you.

its not Tom hardy this time; Most reviews I read say he is background in the movie and its really Charlize Theron's film; SO this triumph is George Miller being great at what he does
