Game of thrones got this thread looking Larry Holmes-like in the 2nd half. Ain't really nothing happening a hour and a half in and worst of all betty got a bunch of screen time. How you gonna compete with GoT with a betty story?

But I hear you this 2 hr episode hasnt moved me much. That's how Mad Men is though, it never starts off fast but 4,5 episodes in and your hooked. The storylines have to develop.

with the GoT hate. I can't endorse that.

But i know what you saying though. I just thought they would bring it since they were going up against GoT but they made us sit through betty "bad scene" draper.

I think this episode was structured to be a reversal of the very first episode. In the pilot, Don spent the whole time with side chicks and seemingly discontent/unfulfilled up until the last scene when he went home and they revealed that he had a wife and kids; in this episode he seemed like a normal, happy businessman/husband until the end when they reveal the side chick
