85%
It might sound like 85% is not far from 99%, but in statistical and electoral terms, it’s actually a significant difference, especially when dealing with millions of voters.
Not everyone who voted for Trump is maga
Also:

I can agree with the OP, but everyone else will anyhow, so might as well say something no one else will
You're not actually engaging with the point. It's obvious the stat wasn't meant to be some peer-reviewed data set, but was highlighting the depth of loyalty Trump has, even after something as disastrous as COVID or his many other failures. Whether it's 85% or 99%, the fact remains that most of his voters stuck with him through everything. The take away from that is the claims of "buyers remorse" are phony. There's no genuine regret there. There's no commitment to change. In fact, they would do it again, if they could.

And saying "not everyone who voted for Trump is MAGA" is a convenient dodge. Maybe that was more true in 2016, but by 2020 and especially 2024, anyone still voting for him is a pretty clearly aligned with MAGA politics. If people had serious issues with him, they had multiple chances to walk away. Most didn't. That's the reality.

This. Andrew's political takes are trash, but this is who democrats should be trying to get back. This is 20-30% of Trump's base.
Your answer >>>>>> my answer

But they are not, they just hating on them instead.

Some people here act like political change comes from building a fan club, not coalitions.

But if he’s speaking sense on some policies you care about, shunning him because he’s not 100% ideologically pure is self-defeating. You don’t win hearts or pass laws by treating partial allies like enemies. All this tribal gatekeeping does is push people away, even when they’re trying to meet you halfway.
What do people care about? Policies or being in an ideological group.

Exactly! People trying to act like they don't know what Trump was about during the the presidential cycle last year is either an absolute idiot or an untrustworthy lying piece of shyt.

Politics heavily in recent decades are all about wish-fulfilment. One single cause issues etc. Instead of the whole circle. It doesn't help politicians know the public are fukking stupid so they'll lie to get into power, which increases the chances of pieces of shyt getting power.

People don't read into policies or what the politician is saying. It's all vibes, what they THINK he's saying and then they vote.

It's only way to explain the full retardation in last 30+ years. Nothing is stuck in cold hard reality everyone is dreaming.

Reminder.

You could be forgiven somewhat for getting caught up in the wave of Trump’s first campaign.

But his 1st Presidency was an outright disaster.

If you voted for him a second time, fukk you.

I would argue a lot of people’s algorithms lied about Trump due to support he got from Musk, Zuckerberg, and Bezos. I was saying that leading to and right after the election and I stand by it. Trump and his people did lie to hundreds of millions of people and people did not think they would do project 2025. Though Musk was by far his biggest supporter. Part of what we are seeing is Musk no longer having Twitter focused on cleaning up Trumps shyt. There aren’t a constant stream of protrump memes and protrump influencers on the feed. It’s still racist but it isn’t targeted to make Trump look better.

At the same time we’re starting to see the affect of what Trump has done. Guys like Schulz is probably looking at the viewer data and seeing this and realizing that it’s time to switch to something else before he gets caught holding the bag.

That’s all we’re seeing. The early adopter influencers looking at their data and seeing where shyt looks like it’s going. These Red Pill/MAGA guys use to be PUA, and then when metoo made that not viable they went to MAGA and Alt-Christian. If Trump is out, they’ll jump on the Anti-Trump bandwagon while also being anti democrat cause that is where the Male incel audience is going.

Dont even get me started on the fact most people couldnt understand project 2025 because it was written at a grad school reading level and most people read at a 6th grade reading level in this country.

Yea right, it’s not like this nikka Trump didn’t have a entire 4 years of showing his orange ass for them to gauge :comeon:
People are stupid….I don’t think Schulz is, but his audience definitely is and I think he is doing his best to connect with them.

Bernie and the Democrat socialist been doing a lot of outreach to those groups trying to convince them not to be the little pieces of shyt they really are. Him naming them isn’t a coincidence.

Politics to me recently seems like sports. It’s less about shyt that helps this country and more about their side winning and inflicting pain on others. I had an uncle back in the day who had money. I remember him being for Bush and my pops shytting on him for it but it was a lot less acrimonious.
