By not doing it you're giving validity to their talking point of "he hasn't played in 3 yrs." Valid argument or not, he had options to play football and chose not to.

How many NBA stars do we see go overseas to play in order to prove to the NBA that they can still play? Happens all the time. Same thing Johnny Manziel and others did. They just messed up but they still played to try to hush the skeptics. It was up to them to show and prove.

The circumstances of his career have changed. The ”injustice” was about Kaepernick not being able to play in the NFL, correct? The NFL lays out a plan for him to workout and potentially get an NFL job, and what does he do?

Changes the time and venue; shows up in a Kunte Kinte t-shirt with an entourage wearing all black and calls the owners scared. What about any of that says “I want an NFL job”? Nothing.

Like I said previously, this about the brand. Specifically the brand Nike has promoted for him. They have put millions of dollars behind him. Do you think they’re getting a return on that if he’s holding a clipboard every Sunday? No. Why did Nike have their cameras there?

Just like the medical field, the money is in treating the symptoms, not in curing the disease. The money here is in the ”fight the power” story, not in the vindication of the “injustice.” He doesn’t want to be a backup quarterback, which is what his future would be in the NFL.

The injustice I was referring to in my posts was systematic racism like police brutality which is what Kaepernick was kneeling against.

The NFL paid for ALL of that when they bought Jay-Z. Brilliant move because now all mainstream urban media becomes another subsidiary of the NFL.

Jay's importance as a brand revolves around his army of stans and their willingness to push the narrative as a positive for him without him saying a fukking thing. Beyond the people you mentioned above there's plenty of people on the internet providing cover for him without being paid for it. He doesn't strike me as stupid enough to miss that which is why my issue with him from the beginning with his "interview" where he dismissed Kaep's work. From there, it was all sorts of "militants" here and all over the internet criticizing Kaep for his "silence" when he never stopped working for the people.

Just as an example of how ass backwards people work, Joe Budden immediately started throwing shots for Kaep's silence after the Jay interview, yet this past week was giving Jay credit for being silent without mentioning any of the traps that the NFL included for Kaep aka two days notice, no cameras, no WR he was familiar with. They'll continuously point to the actual workout happening, pretend like it was actually legit, and be annoyed at us for still pointing out the "problem" instead of bowing to Jay.

There are no "NBA stars" who had a good season and had to go overseas to prove anything. Kap's last season wasn't trash, he only had 4INTs which some QBs throw in one game. The NBA isn't a league where half the teams #1 player is garbage. In the NFL, damn near half the teams have shytty starting QBs

Johnny Manziel is also complete trash and was an alcoholic and coke addict so i dont know why you're comparing him to Kap's situation.
