It's crazy that being an early investor in Starbucks is just a footnote in his business career. Dude made a quick 100 Mil off that. It's wild to think, but if he never got HIV he may have never reached this level of success.

It's like that episode of Seinfeld when George stopped having sex and he turned into a genius. Magic used to fukk everything that walked. Once he was forced to give it all up he turned into a fukkin business savant.

His post-playing career is incredible; film/show worthy. If you were to travel back 30+ years ago after the HIV announcement and tell everyone that not only was Magic still gonna be alive in 2023 but a business titan as well, nobody would have believed it.

4% is a pretty significant amount of an NFL team to own especially considering this one is technically valued at $6 billion. His portion is worth $200 million and the best pathway to ownership is becoming a minority owner.

He has that claim in all three of the leagues. I always thought they'd chase Obama as the first black majority owner, but it seems like they're putting Magic on the path.
