Magic Johnson debate turns into ESPN-on-ESPN racism claims

I really don't like the trend of slapping racism on frivolous situations like lebetard tearing into magic or some shyt about a store taking down negan shirts

It's really reduces the impact and magnitude of what racism really is, which enables a idiot like sage Steele to make the comments she made about the most racism she ever experienced were by black people. If you reduce racism simply to shirt slogans name calling and intentions behind rants, then c00n buck dancing blacks like Charles barkley can make the claim that it's just as many black idiots as white idiots.

Racism is a institution, white supremacy is a system. It can never be reduced from that level otherwise the major victims of this institution and system get cheated on rhe effects it has had on them and how it continues to dominate them therefore simultaneously removing the proper resolutions to fixing the issue.

LeBatard did say that but he also spoke on Phil, John Lynch, Bill Parcels and other athletes that did not have the qualifications for the job.

Problem is they took the most damning quote and said "fukk everything else you said. Let's create controversy." Keyshawn got sensitive because apparently Magic is God in LA and for some reason is immune to criticism. I know Magic took a lot during his playing days from white media members, but damn. He then made baseless claims about dude being a racist because he couldn't fathom someone criticizing Magic. LZ Granderson upped it (and therefore destroyed all of his journalstic credibility in my eyes) by inferring that Dan meant Magic was shucking and jiving. If they actually listened to the man's show, they'd realize how wrong and flat out sensitive they are.

Magic is more qualified from his real world business acumen to athletics than most.

Magic also had to ramp on a number of different industries from film to even baseball and the dodgers.
So, how lebatard arose to this and just harped on magic failures in business post his original real career is one sided and jaded and not indicative of the full scope.

To the point the points of his rant taken for the media never featured that in content.
Which is why I have a hard time with this coming from Dan as he is typically a bit more thorough than this.

The nerve of Dan to question Magic everyone was doing cartwheels Tuesday acting like Magic is the 2017 Pat Riley or something how dare he question if it will work out. the rest of my post said this very thing. Hold everyone accountable. Apparently he did, so I am good with it. Thats why I also said I had to hear the entire comment to get waht he said because I know they included the most inflammatory stuff.

Saying that, I am very skeptical about Magic and Rob Pelinka's hiring.
