Magneto has always been my favourite character because he was based of Malcolm X.

Remember the real world black leaders these two's ideology was based on.
The whole run, in many ways, does. The sentiment the mutants have, the fact that non-mutants can't leave the mutants alone, it is very interesting. The little nuances like them forming their own religion based around themselves and even gender issues, speak considerably to some aspects of the black community.

When this first started I didn't think it was real because none of the creators said anything about it, then all these articles came out saying that was the backstory. Now articles are saying it aint the case.

Getting Gillen to write the books has always been about making Sinister the focus. Sinister has the event focus for next year.
