Magneto has always been my favourite character because he was based of Malcolm X.

I wasn't expecting it to hit like that but it did.

That page pretty much sums up the Black community right now.
The whole run, in many ways, does. The sentiment the mutants have, the fact that non-mutants can't leave the mutants alone, it is very interesting. The little nuances like them forming their own religion based around themselves and even gender issues, speak considerably to some aspects of the black community.

The comments about the similarities to "black issues" has merit

But the part about appearing good really rings true about liberals vs conservatives

Na
When this first started I didn't think it was real because none of the creators said anything about it, then all these articles came out saying that was the backstory. Now articles are saying it aint the case.

:snoop:
Claremont himself said it wasn't based on MLK and Malcolm X

I'm glad, it's downright offensive

Whole judgment day event has been a let down. It feels like when Hickman left they just went in a totally different direction
Getting Gillen to write the books has always been about making Sinister the focus. Sinister has the event focus for next year.
