Breh Brady is widely considered the GOAT. Homey gets credit for a ring in which he threw one TD pass the entire playoffs and missed an entire game. Does he have detractors and even haters? Yes. Is it close to the prevailing narrative? No. Nobody ever parsed the numbers in a Brady W. He never caught shyt for Ls...even ones where he stunk up the joint. Again speaking generally. Its nikkas that have shyt to say about Jordan but we not gonna act like he is widely disrespected or subject to unfair scrutiny in general. Peyton is way more disrespected. 2 rings, 4 SBs with 4 coaches, 3-2 vs Brady in the playoffs and his rep is playoff choker. And even if what you said was true, its silly and unnecessary and poisons discourse....so wouldnt we want that shyt to stop rather than wishing it on the next gen?
He had 2 touchdowns. Im pretty sure rushing tds count. One of the games was in a blizzard and only two td were scored total in that game. You said he got credit? So who led a 10 pt comeback by throwing for 312 yards with avg weapons in a blizzard? When did Brady missed an enrire game? He was on fire in the second qtr and the DB intentionally went low to knock him out the game. As a matter if fact, what does 2001 have to do with anything, though? That was 22 years ago, in a different league. Brady never caught shyt for L's?? Your viewpoint is obviously rooted in animosity, so why should I take that foolish ass statement, seriously? Discourse, my ass. Dudes who probably watched 4 Brady games a year have been making up false narratives his entire career. Ppl literally called him a product of Belichick for 20 years. Idiots out here lying and saying he didnt start in college. Please. It was always sn excuse or reason why he was successful. Brady has been derided as a dink and dunk QB his whole career, when he has led about 4 top 20 all time offenses.a segment of ppl have rewritten his early career based on modern stats and not how he was viewed in real time. The fact that by analytics, Brady is the best performing QB of all time, yet he is viewed as a guy who just wins, not the historically dominant passer that his film/production state that he is. Dude has made 2 All Decade teams and gets discredited more than anyone. Peyton Manning was a playoff choke. The nerve of you acting like Manning was unfairly ostracized when he got bullshyt MVPs in 2008 and 2009, after having s rule changed for him due to complaining. Many ppl scoffed at Bradys longevity because of how "soft" this era is. Do those same ppl turn around and use that argument against Mahomes.?? Tell me something that I said was a lie.

Bro the way people have straight up revised Mahomes' performance in SB55 is so annoying to me...

I wouldn't go as far as to say he was the worst of the Chiefs problems that game.....but he was not good in that Super Bowl. It literally just happened 3 years ago and people act as if he gave this Herculean effort, did everything he was supposed to do, played to his standards, and everybody else just sucked...

This is part of what bothers me about the Mahomes conversation, the blatant rewriting of his career...
It is simply the power of the media. Ppl get indoctrinated so easy without fact checking and formalizing an educated opinion. Just like how he went scoreless in the second half of the Afc chsmpionship and it leads to an undisputed GOAT debate.

I don’t think kelce gets enough credit in these discussions. He may be the best tight end ever, carried kc on his back these last two years. He's been better than every weapon on the field last two post seasons

He is truly is. Teams have tried everything, yet he consistently dominates. Being an unstoppable target and being physical, is a big time advantage.

So really this aint bout me and what I said, its deeper than rap for you? Ok. I assure you it aint worth all this. I mean I get it. I used to be on that with certain players. But I promise you it aint worth all this. I am all for exchanging ideas and even disagreeing (as we have done plenty of times) but I am no longer interested in going to these depths of emotion. No beef. No disrespect.

Not emotional at all, B. Im posting pure facts. Name an athlete who has done as much as Brady has and is continuously disrespected like him? I listen to NFL podcasts all the time and the subject could be about something unrelated, and yet Brady gets insulted or downplayed. Definitely no disrespect nor beef, we go wayy back. I have the right to share what I have seen and heard. I dont go looking for it, but it always emerges. This is not an illusion or delusion, its cold hard reality. Peace. You are one of my favorite posters, irregardless of our difference in opinion.

Gronk is the GOAT tight end.

Kelce is the best pass catcher though.

Yeah Kelce has been insane the last few years. Teams are shading him, bracketing him, straight doubles, nothing works...

Its to the point where teams are hurting themselves by rolling so much coverage to him and making it easier for other players. He still beats it anyway. It's best to just play him straight up and hope he doesn't kill you. Baltimore tried that and he burned them, but I understand the logic behind it.

Its all respect thats why I took the time to respond. I guess I am missing all these Brady potshots breh. In the national media he is sucked off damn near unanimously in a fashion that only MJ could top (I promise I am not a rapper :heh:). I never said it didnt exist. My point is its not the prevailing narrative. In 2024 you can find somebody saying anything about anyone but that doesnt mean its the general or majority sentiment or even worth your attention. But like I said, if its so bad to the point that it causes you to go on tirades at people that you fukk with over pretty innocuous and obvious comments (seriously I aint even say nothing bad about the man breh let alone anything warranting all that) is it really something we want to continue?

I aint holier than thou. I have jumped head first into toxic sports discussion. But at a certain point it was just like "Why? Does this really matter like that?". Going back and forth over opinions is cool. Thats the fun of sports but IMO aint nothing fun about the negative, over the top shyt.

I can def agree with this, but what makes Kelce extra special is his availability. Gronk missed a lot of games, while Kelce rarely does. Not Gronks fault, but those are the facts..
Thats fine, but even with the injuries Gronk still has like 20 more TDs than Kelce in less games.

I think Kelce is the best pass catcher, well he or Gonzalaez, but what is asked of a tight end its still Gronk. Man could catch passes and was basically a sixth lineman.

Thats where all 3 work together. Offense puts him in position. Mahomes finds him and makes the throws. He gets himself open (sometimes outside the offense) and makes the catch. Its hard to stop all 3 working together. Same with Brady and Gronk. League just better be happy he is like 35.
