How is Pat the most gifted ever?? He is the best blend of great passer with mobility, but there are many QBs who were more gifted physically than him. He is also not the best surgeon as a pocket passer. He is the best combination, though. But guys like Cunningham, Elway, Vick, Culpepper, McNabb, Newton, Allen are more physically gifted. Brady, Manning, Rodgers and Brees are better pocket passers. Check the analytics.

Love the Roger mention..criminally underrated. Had a short career because of the Navy deployment and Tom Landry being a total idiot with the QB carousel. Easy couldve won in 70 If Landry rode with him instead of Morton and if Jackie Smith catches the ball in SB13, they likely win that SB, too.

Yeah Roger don't get his deserved props or enough mentions in these QB discussions
Because he played in the deadball era and alot of fans try to compare raw numbers from across era instead of comparing them to their peers or looking at the analytics which factor in everything. One day theres gonna be some kid that thinks Kirk Cousins was better than Dan Fouts. He will fail to understand the era differences and not realize how INTS were more widespread then and how completion pcts were wayy lower.
Brady the most disrespected player, along with Emmitt Smith, in NFL history. If Brady had a game where he dropped 17 and was held scoreless for the entire second half, that would be used as ammunition to say that he is overrated. Ppl still discredit his Tampa run and attribute it to their defense, although they dropped 30 in all 4 playoff games(first time that ever happened). The internet is a cesspool of contradiction. Ppl even discredited Brady for excelling because the era was watered down defensively. When does anyone use that same talking point to detract from Mahomes' greatness?
