The accolades are significant legacy points in Mahomes' favor. And if Burrow beats him for the 4th consecutive time, two of those being with a Super Bowl on the line, at Mahomes' place, those are significant legacy points in Burrow's favor...

If KC loses this game Mahomes would fall to 2-3 in the AFC Championship, so yes, he'd still have all that other stuff in his favor, but we'd also be talking about a guy who, in addition to continually losing to Cincy, in addition to the losing AFCCG record, is a guy who made two Super Bowls but didn't play all that great in either one besides the last half of the 4thQ in the one that he won...

He certainly didn't dominate the SB he won, and was downright bad in the one he lost. He played outstanding in the AFCCG loss to New England, but last year was a choke in the second half of that game, he was terrible...

All evaluations like these have nuance and we aren't talking about a guy who has gotten to this level and played with flawless execution. It's been quite the contrary, actually, so the same way its fair to bring up his entire resume, the same resume I think already makes him a GOAT 15 player, and it's fair for people to bring up "he's playing Cincy's defense, Burrow isn't on defense", it's equally fair for people to point out the mistakes and flaws and performances that weren't good...

He's rarely bad, but on the rare occasions he is bad, he gets really, really bad. It's a Manning-esque quality, if you recall Prime Manning, he was rarely bad, but when he was bad he was fukking terrible (and no I don't think Mahomes is as consistently poor in the playoffs as Manning, where it was a near annual occurrence. That ain't what I'm saying befire you run in here with your pitchforks out 😆)...

You guys don't just get to tell one side of the story and omit the parts yall don't like 🤣...

And let's keep it all the way 💯, we know how quarterbacks are compared to each other in games, we don't have to play pretend. They've been measuring quarterbacks against each other like this, since before any of us were born. It wasn't necessarily "fair" that Manning got ripped for playing poorly against elite Patriot defenses, and later an elite Hawks defense, while Brady got gassed for not playing as badly versus a Colts D that was nowhere near as challenging as what Manning was facing when he took the field. But he got ripped for it anyway, it is what it is...

When he and Brady met more often than not Brady outplayed Manning, it's a fact. No clue who outplays who on Sunday but Burrow outplayed Mahomes last year. So we'll see if that's a pattern or not, but last year happened. I don't understand this desire to act as if it didn't...

Manning has out played Brady in the playoffs when they met and manning being bad annually in the playoffs is a myth and cap

I remember seeing that deep out route against the broncos in 2017 and knew he was gonna be nice.

I didnt see this though. Goddamn.

Do you think he is a legitimate top 10 all time qb already based off of playoff acolades?
I do think it's a legitimate conversation. The Consensus Top 10 is generally regarded as Brady and Montana as the top two, then a jumble of 8 guys that come in various order, but these 8 guys are virtually all agreed upon as GOAT 10:

(alphabetical)Brees, Elway, Favre, Manning, Marino, Rodgers, Unitas, Young

Those 8 guys are on like 95% of guy's lists if you asked nikkas to write one out, so that's the consensus. The order varies but those 8 guys are in there...

Brees is the only one who never won an MVP. Marino is the only one who never win a ring. Mahomes has both and could still add multiple more. It's a conversation...

If he gets this 2nd ring, you can't downplay his career for at least 2 seasons lol.

He win this one and he’s just chasing Brady.
I know these talking heads try to turn this shyt like NBA nonsense where it just be comes a ring count.. what can be do about breh being offsides when Brady threw a pick?

Mahomes came in the game cooking like no QB before, he gonna have all the records wit any decent pace.. he the one

He wouldn’t need 7 to be better than Brady for me. But he gotta get somewhat close. 4-5 and he’d be the Goat to me.

He already the goat for real :wow: we really get to watch breh cook out the gate 50 TDS and stack rings.. best I ever seen
Same here, don't wanna hear about Brady, he's not fukking with Mahomes on any level skill wise. Throws with the best of em, can run, throw on the move, improvisation skills, poise, etc. Don't wanna hear it.

They be so reluctant to give bro all his credit cause although he mixed they still see a full breh. :mjlol:
Mahomes the GOAT, it was easy to see early on very similar to how you knew MJ would be in basketball. He just has that combination of elite skill, poise, savvy and luck to be THAT guy. 4 superbowl appearances in 6 aint no small feat folks.
