My Father in Heaven
I can see the argument, but time and rewatching Brady’s best has made me realign my argument to saying he’s the GOAT, there wasn’t a throw he couldn’t make in the pocket and he was the definition of clutch, people will say threepeat and that’s cool…but Brady won 7, two with different teams, with a ten gap in between and 3 more appearances

I think the rush to crown Mahomes comes from people who still just can’t accept that someone as physically lackluster as Brady became the best QB ever

Seen Brady go off in different systems, eras, and teams to give up the #1 spot this easy.

One of the reasons Brady/Pats went on a second run is because a lot of their fiercest comp aged out. Manning wasn't in the way anymore. Ravens D retired. The vet coaches that could hang with Beli's chess game were less and less.

That's what this KC run has been since Brady left the AFC. There's no team out their to counter the QB/coaching combo. Andy's resume obliterates every other contender's coach. And once they added Spags, whos proven to be a big game DC as long as he got his line, I knew shyt was curtains.

It's why I say only Father Time and/or retirement is stopping this run.

What kind of dumb shyt is this? They played in different eras. We saw Brady in Mahomes’ era - he was MVP caliber and a SB champ. You’re comparing the first 8 years of a dude who led the NFL in passing TD with 28 to a dude who led the league with 50? Do you comprehend how vastly different their eras are?

Mahomes entire offensive line was backups to backups, he spent the entire game running for his life, and somehow people have fixed their brains to think Brady was the one who beat him in that SB.

:mjlol:
Where was this argument when Peyton and the Broncos beat Brady in the AFC championship game? What about Brady beating the Chiefs in the AFC championship game with a worse team?

Brady played in a different era that wasn’t pass happy where QBs were getting lit the fukk up. All that cute shyt Mahomes does wouldn’t be flying in 2002. Y’all revise history so much on here. If Brady matched stats with these young QBs as a 45 yo man that should tell you these new era QBs wouldn’t have been having 5,000 yard seasons back then.

He part of the rule changes

That’s such a good take. Andy Reid is one of the few guys from the old era. It makes me a little mad that he couldn’t do this in Philly. He went from being a perennial NFC champ with no rings to having three and possibly four (hopefully not though). He could’ve did that then :francis: I guess Reid also had to wait until the other coaches aged out.

It does tho, he got the benefit of QB rules just like everyone

It doesn’t. He played through the era change. What are you not understanding here? That’s like saying millennials don’t remember life before computers because we lived through the transition.

The era changing allowed him to play longer and he’s apart of the cause of it, what are you not understanding?

And that analogy is ass, we’re talkin about football; you saying Brady put up #s with the QBs in this generation like he’s not part of the reason it’s easier to pass in the league

U are revising history to fit a narrative

Mahomes is definitely right behind Brady all time if he completes the 3peat if not already. I think his regular season stats need to be a little bit better overall to truly challenge him tho.
