I find it interesting that Wacky D has a lie on the majority of posts in this thread. From "Aaliyah was hoping to go gold," to "last album still couldn't crack a Millie," to shytting on her dancing even though the only female performer who was on her level or better back then was Janet. I never liked these comparisons because Aaliyah never had had a chance to reach an actual peak/prime because she died so young and so early in her career.
Most of y;all are riding Beyonce because she's current and we actually had the chance to see her evolve as an overall artist.
