lol @ responding a year later but Aaliyah dropped 3 albums in her 8 year long career, Beyonce dropped 4 albums in her 10 year long solo career.

Yea I just found ot today that Beyonce only has 4 solo albums thats crazy to think considering how long shes been in the game as a solo artist and how many successful singles shes had throughout the past decade

Talk about revisionist history. Now Kelly & Michelle were just the two other bytches? Why'd Matthew even put in Beyonce in a group in the first place if she was already ready to go solo? Why cut the check 3-4 ways?





Stop it. While Brandy, Monica & Aaliyah were ready to be solo artists since 15, 16 years old, Bey wasn't, otherwise Columbia wouldve put her ass out as one. And I specifically remember people being scared that Beyonce wasn't gonna have the same success as a solo artist as she did in DC. that shyt was a huge talking point in 2003. The fact that Columbia had a shytload of features on her solo debut reinforces what Im saying.

All these girls came out on their own while Beyonce's first two singles had the biggest rapper at the time & the biggest reggae star at the time Cut it out cuzzin.
