Not tryna end up like this one kid who just told me he switched his major to journalism :ld:

Edit: COMPUTER ENGINEERING Binary as well please

fukking K Maps and NOR gates n Half Adders

I have an ebook that covers that knaugh maps, and the adders. It helped me a bit, but I was totally lost till I crammed for the test:pachaha:
Matter of fact I still have all the hw, solutions and test from that class, so let me know if you want em:whoo:
That intro programming with java made me only switch to an it degree by the 2nd test, I pulled it off somehow:whew:

Talk about a blast from the past, I've watched multiple videos from the first guy. Youtube has gotten me through so much it's crazy. UC Irvine has entire science classes online, so I'd literally go to my lecture, go to library and then watch that in 1.5x speed. I still use youtube a lot not now. We have so many professors who have PhD's but can't teach. But nothing is better than being in a STEM class with a great teacher. All you have to do is go and listen. My orgo professor was like that. She had everything down to a science. Which boards she would use for which reactions. How she wrote her exams. Her problem sets. It was something to behold.

I went to Georgia Tech, a top engineering school. I always tell people I went from the smartest kid in my high school to being the dumbest person in a 60 man classroom. Even after I graduated I used to have nightmares that I got a call and found out I was a few credits short and had to go back.

I cheated like hell in any class i didnt see being valuable to my career

That was part of the lesson you were supposed to learn. :lolbron:

What are your plans to do with that degree?
It sounds interesting.

How do you brehs feel about getting a BS in biochem/biotech and going doing engineering for grad school? Would that be smart?
you can do anything you want with a scientific degree, for me after i graduated i didnt want to be in the laboratory so i took a break and worked in mental health as a project coordinator. during the same period i managed to get an MSc public health so next stop for me is UN/WHO/UNICEF/psychiatric epidemiology/epidemiology/public health research/clinical research/ whoever gives me an offer i cant refuse.

Naw he works for a defense contractor as a design engineer.

When I say DoD I am referring to defense contractors.

As for government gigs I meet 2 folks with physic degrees that work for the department of energy.

DoD is a government job...federal employee. Govt DoD contractors (Lockheed, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, etc) are private industry.

DoD is more stable, better benefits, less pay.
Contractors is less stable, more pay.
