question to all the stem brehs, how many other brehs did u see in your classes

by my last year it was all cac , middle easteners, a few brehetttes and me and one or two other brehs. we was always looking at each other after the exams

I never see a lot of black brothers in class. Shyt is frustrating to be honest.

Avg black person is in school for mass comm or psycology and then there are more black women in school than brehs at that.

Unless you are at an HBCU most of the black ppl you see in STEM are immigrants

Question: Is there any real reason to learn a low level language like assembly? That shyt just looks like a headache for no reason

Not that I know of. It make simple stuff 3x more harder. It didn't make me a better programmer and I never encountered anyone using it in the industry.

I mean it's still used and exposure to it is not a bad thing but I don't know...it shouldn't be as a full class but part of a curriculum of a class

Black folks be going to college to make grandma proud like she gonna be in the classroom with em. If i didnt go the stem route I would NOT have gone to college. At most i would have learned a trade and then got a Management degree or something.

Luckily i went to a school in a trash public school system where all I needed to do was show up

Man when I hear people tell me math is what's stopping them from getting a good degree or career

Gonna let 3-6 classes dictate your life

Math is tough but I think with practice and repetition most have the ability to learn anything up to Cal 3. Most aren't trying to put in that work though

Small (i mean very small) intergrated SOCs do not have the space or resources to house complex instruction sets that we see on today's desktop level chips like x86.

So in order to program them, you need to know machine language and what every single memory address is used for.

I gave an example above of a thermostat but honestly in 2017 those Nests Thermostats can probably run Windows xp .
