Question: Is there any real reason to learn a low level language like assembly? That shyt just looks like a headache for no reason

Not for most applications/purposes. It's definitely used, but it's specialized now. I'm creeping up on 10 years in the industry and haven't used one iota of that shyt. Hell I haven't even come across many job postings that need it.

question to all the stem brehs, how many other brehs did u see in your classes

by my last year it was all cac , middle easteners, a few brehetttes and me and one or two other brehs. we was always looking at each other after the exams

2-3 in my senior level classes, i barely see any black women past sophomore level courses.

i used to do shyt in JCL and COBOL on mainframes for an internship i did years ago and i thought those languages were archaic but assembly takes the cake

I`m not a dev but my first job out of college the system I supported was built on Cobol and all of the devs were old school russians lol.

I was the only one in pretty much all of them.

Computer science major classes were alright, I failed my intro programming class and almost failed my senior testing class
But Calc II, physics I/II were terrible, I only passed because of luck and the professor knew I tried in that class
I almost took calc III , before finding out I could swap it with a science class like geology
