within satisfying my requirements for my CS degree only 2 classes gave me grief

Discrete Math and Calc 2..Discrete math was a CS elective..I forgot how many credits I needed for that but I did have an option to take something else besides that..one of only 2 C's i got in undergrad BUT since it was a 200 level course it counted toward my major as long as i didnt fail it outright..Calc 2 was my final required Math class to satisfy my math requirement..professor was a brilliant drunk who did not know how to teach...study groups with math majors and other miscellaneous majors who needed calc 2 saved my ass

in discrete math 2 right now and gawdamn :mjcry:

I'm so scared I'm gonna fail

fukked up my first two tests

it's comeback season though :demonic:

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student, and I'm going to graduate in May:blessed:

So far this semester these classes have been easy. Junior year was tough as fukk. I only got through it by finding some great YouTube channels.

:feedme:

Need some good links besides khan academy and MathBFF

Would appreciate some good physics and Chem tutorials too

For you guys asking for YouTube videos what courses did you guys need?

That guy has a lot of math videos. I used his Linear Algebra playlist and it helped me out a lot
patrickJMT

I used this guys videos to get through Calc II and III
Travis Kowalski

I don't have any Physics or Chemistry channels saved. I don't think I used YouTube for help when I used those. ITunesU is also another great place to find lectures and example problems.

You can also try to find the solution manuals for some textbooks here. There is a thread on Reddit that has some more places, but this is honestly the only one that really helped me out.

Most dudes who you start out with in a stem degree will drop out halfway.

I remember when I was in colllege as a Comouter science major, half the kids in my class failed every semester.
Hell bro its not easy

Im taking a java course right now, im thinking since i saw what the previous first tests were like i had a general idea of what the test was gonna be like

NOPE

I didnt completely fail it but god damn it do i need to do better on the next test.

I'm taking my first discrete math class next semester. What do you think are some of the more important topics to know?

Ironically the major classes were easy for me, it was alot of the unrelated courses they make you take your freshmen and sophmore yrs that annoyed me. They werent hard I just didnt see the value in some of them.

the value is shaking you down for $1000s of dollars....and requiring you to take them
