MLW really picking up steam though. I don't know if they even need a 3rd singles title.

I think they definitely do and I hope it's defended often. It doesn't seem like MLW does a lot of title matches, which is good in a way (seems like they are trying to copy the NJPW format for title matches), but I think they need a midcard title to get defended on the weekly show on a consistent basis.

Have Teddy & Davey Jr defended the tag belts yet?

they don't necessarily need a 3rd singles titles, but they need something. I was looking forward to the 6-man tag team titles that the hart foundation said MLW was about to bring in. but I havnt heard a peep about it since.
that would be crazy, seeing how MLW has a grip of dope stables.

yeah, now that you said something I don't know if they ever defended the tag titles. Maybe they need Teddy to come off that Middleweight title and let someone else get a run with it so it can be defended more. Teddy can move up into the world title scene.

Yeah, I didn't understand why they made him a double champion... unless Pillman Jr wins the National title and Davey Boy wins the world (he won a poll on MLW's Twitter page for who should get a title shot)

I guess Aries was the "big" name they were teasing in a press release a few weeks ago. He wrestled for them a few times on the early beIN episodes.

He's a good addition, but I can't imagine him lasting long.

Doesn't he have legit e-beef with Callihan? That should be interesting.

I am legit impressed by Court & his super ability to bring in people with reps & have it work out for him so far.

I don't know how MLW/TNA makes money to pay their talent. They're on tiny networks with tiny audiences, running small venues where they tape a month or two of shows in 2 days. One has to assume guys like Ki and Aries (and the Harts, Swagger while he was there, Lucha Bros, La Parka) have decent asking prices.
