You're asking for their acceptance by asking why aren't they allowing us to play somewhere.

i didn't ask why they aren't allowing black DJs to play in their venues.

So there's not arenas, clubs, and stadiums that black DJ's can't play at :dwillhuh:? What's the market size for black people who listen to EDM music? Or is the issue about us not being invited to play for predominately cac audiences?

the race of the audience is irrelevant, what matters is who owns the venue and who has the wealth to cut those checks

My issue isn't you pointing it out. My issue is you saying this:

So again, why are we waiting on white people to allow us to do anything :word:?

black DJs aren't waiting on white people, they are going to make music and spin for clubs regardless if they're being underpaid or not.

No they dont. Someone was out of dress code that hes leaving out or it was a horrible male to female ratio. New york, miami, vegas and some places in the bay you arent getting in if the ratio aint 1:1, depending on the night like lets say The Weeknd at Drai's they stop letting men in after a certain period regardless if they with women.

Those people he mighta saw go in mighta already been in or had VIP.
first off, dress codes were made to exclude nikkas

but its been proven that clubs purposely exclude blacks even if they are in dress code

Club scene is overrated in the U.S. unless you are rich

No one was out of dress code :comeon: And we had about half and half male to female ratio. The problem was were BLACK and in a large group.
How do you know you werent out of dress code :skip: a group of 15 very rarely 100% are in dress code. Different clubs got different dress codes.

For instance Tao REQUIRES a collard shirt. Dont matter if you spending $3000 on bottles and got a $500 shirt on. If it dont got a collar you not getting in.

:laff: A DRESS CODE? :what: how bout we enforce a dress code because thats the look we want for the club. You sound ridiculous.

You not gone win this argument with me. Mayweather fight weekend is one of the biggest weekends in Vegas and the clubs are majority black crowds.

Second someone like me controls dress code. People who dress bummy, make the club look bummy and brings the quality of crowd down. Females dont wanna be there round some bummy people. Bummy people dont spend money. They dont respect the dress code , they damn sure wont respect the club.

Aint got shyt to do wit race.

someone find that video where they dressed a white guy and a black guy the same, only to deny the black guy entry into the club.

everybody know them clubs try to keep the percentage of black men down to a minimum but @itsyoung!! outchea fronting
I work at Tao, Marquee and Drai's. 3 of the biggest and nicest clubs in Vegas.

They also got hip hop acts there weekly. Marquee has a dedicated hip hop room.

XS the most popular club in the world has dedicated hip hop weekly monday party.

Those rooms/nights from the biggest clubs in the world advertise to younger/diverse crowd.

Long story short, u n @marcuz trippen.

Still gotta follow dress code. Dont matter who you are.

Last time i was in Vegas I was with Chopper from making the band. Hes 6'6 with face n neck tats and dreads. Still in the club poppin bottles. If you didnt get in, again, its on you.

This big event im paying for and gotta take insurance policy out for especially after that chris brown shyt I can allow jordans and nikes in.

Guess wont be allowed in though? Jordans and Nikes. I want people dressed up nice. Itll be 600-800 people, close to 1:1 male to female ratio, 10-40% of every race(mostly black and asian) and in the tenderloin of SF (google that area if you never heard of it). I doubt I have 0 fights and all the "why you trippen off dress code?! Im tryna spend money! My money aint good here?!" Crowd will sit outside mad while all the baddest females in the bay will be inthere and the people who respect the club will be in there buyin em drinks.

People who dont respect the dress code are 9 outta 10 times the ones starting a fight in the club. If they dont listen to basic dress code rules, they dont give a fukk bout the party. Thats just reality bruh.

I do 3 weekly parties $10-20 entrance fee. That night itll be $25-40. Ill need at least 200+ people paying to break even/recoup my money. Sounds easy but when you account for all the comp entries with bottle service, friends/fam/girls you take care of, etc. or what if only 400 show up.. Theres plenty of room to fukk up.

Like i told @houston911 its a high risk/high reward business.

I been to plenty of clubs and they TELL you your not getting in or tell you that you're out of dress code. Playing games and just making you "wait" is bullshyt.

Playing mainstream hip hop music and being on black rappers or black celebrities dikks is not the same to the average black person. You one of them nikkas that work in the club scene and are the Cacs are "cool" with you but what I know is me and my male and female friends were denied entry because we were in a large group as black people.

You can spin it anyway you want. If someone was damn near any where CLOSE to being out of dress code they would have threw that in our our face so we'd leave but that couldn't use that excuse because we were dressed appropriately.

If I was with a group of cacs and some cave bytches I'm sure I would have gotten in. Cold hard facts.

Like I said in the first post they said we had to wait and just started ignoring us. No response as to why we were still "waiting". It was not a busy night other people just walking up and getting in. It was clear my money wasn't wanted so fukk it. Too many blacks for that club on that night I guess.

I've been to plenty of other Vegas clubs but I've never been with a group that big. They clearly were uncomfortable letting 15 black people into their club that night for whatever reason. But it's the truth and race was the main factor.
