I know several younger guys and girls in their late 20's making $80k+, and several in thier early 30's making 6 figures, all african american, and they NEVER talk about their money, or how well they're doing on social media, and if you didn't know them you wouldn't even know what they do for a living. But somebody's who's the type to gets an associate director position making 50k and feel like they have to tell the world on some humble brag 'ish, or making 35k always posting about how "they're up early making moves and about the money".

Unless somebody asks you about it on a life advice angle, keep compensation to yourself. No good really comes from sharing that info outside of that.
