this is the thread is case in point.

Black on black violence response : :coffee:

Police on black response when justified to save another black life: :damn:

Where is the care and concern for the girl that was almost stabbed to death?

Unpopular opinion:

I'd go as far as to say most faking outrage don't even give a damn about Markiah or the girl she almost stabbed to death. It's the fact that a cop is involved that is the "concern"

More fathers, more mature people regardless of gender. I wouldn't just say more men in black communities, cuz men are responsible for 90% of the violence and fukkery. The more I think about it, we need an entirely different mental outlook in these communities.
there is for sure a lack of men.

Get up in the morning in damn near any metro black neighborhood...
...stand around the Train/Bus during rushour...
...youre going to see nothing but women.

Men are needed because they generally represent certain values....they demand responsibility.
Women (mothers) are more forgiving and will always have an excuse for something.

The energy a father brings to the table is night and day compared to a mother.

The problem is we have generations raised by women...
...and so any type of real masculinity is seen as "old" or "selling out".

These boys out here have no direction and have the coping mechanisms of a woman, with the testosterone of a man.

Thats a dangerous combination

That's what I've been told too. This situation is a whole mess and we need to wash our hands of it :hubie:
That’s the story I read, however if you decide to watch the video you’ll see that the girls that’s about to be stabbed isn’t fighting anyone. She’s just casually holding a dog
:hubie:

Yeah, I'm not sure how to feel about this. R.I.P to the young girl though and prayers for the family. But why'd she feel the need to even get a knife in the first pl...nvm

I have so many mixed feelings

My biggest issue is his shooting to kill vs shooting to disarm her.

Makayla was unfortunately a product of her environment. I remember growing up a girl coming to fight my sister -we were latch key kids so no adults were around. They fought and left. This is nothing new.

But weapons, knives etc weren’t present. That makes this darker...

Im glad the other girl was saved. I’m hoping she’s okay.

Did it have to take 4 shots? I don’t know.

It’s just a terrible situation.

there is no such thing as "shooting to disarm"

If you train with a gun, you'll learn that its only brought out for one reason

Reading replies like this make me wonder about the impact of movies & video games on how people view violence.

after watching the body cam video, the police did not need to shoot. I understand why but that girl could have been restrained without shots fired. Are the police not trained on how to break up fights??

There is no shooting to disarm, all that shoot in the leg, shoot in the arm and fire warning shots, is make believe shyt and you can't use a taser, in lethal situations involving lethal weapons. All that is move shyt, but this a real life and this the end result unfortunately :francis:
