There’s a reason I stopped using Bovada as a Sportsbook, and that reason is blackjack. I deposited a few times recently and have gotten smoked.

Make a smaller wager, and either get a great hand or lose.

Up your bet, and the dealer has blackjack or you get 14, 15, and 16 against a face card.

Oh, and my absolute favorite! Get aces, split them, and end up with 12 and 14..

Thank god online casinos are banned in NY. I like to leave a vast majority of my bankroll on various sportsbooks and I've gotten annihilated more than once traveling to NJ and trying to double up on baccarat.

I was doing very well avoiding playing blackjack for about a year until last week. Then I deposited some more today to wager on the NBA, but I ended up trying to make some more playing blackjack and lost most of my deposit.

Yeah, I don't like what I saw from them last night. I figured they'd lose but not get smoked like that. If they lose Friday I don't see any way they go into Boston and win a game 7.
