I was just thinking about an old bet I lost some yrs ago. One of the worst ways to lose a bet is because of an official's review.
I live bet what team would reach 15 pts first. I usually jump on the team that is down something like 6-2 to try and get plus money. The team I bet on scores 10 straight to go up 12-6. The other team ties it by hitting 2 straight threes. My team hits a 2 to go up 14-12. The other team hits a long 2 to tie it at 14. My team gets fouled and makes 1 of 2 to make it 15-14. I win the bet and go check on some other games. I check back on my game and the qtr is over and the refs are at the monitor, reviewing a play. Little did I know, they were reviewing the long 2 pt shot the other team hit that tied it at 14. They review it and confirm it was a 3, meaning they reached 15 first
