Miguel and Frank were the last male R&B stars. R&B went hand-in-hand with Rap for the longest up until maybe a decade ago. The Dream, Ne-Yo, CB, JT, Omarion, Mario, Trey, Robin Thicke, Usher, and Lloyd were all in rotation as a jit.

It's wild how irrelevant it is mainstream as a whole, male and female.
