Lyrics from Lil Baby Rickstar which is I beleive is OT was number one on the billboard hip hop charts.

lyrics

With the pistol on my hip like I'm a cop (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Have you ever met a real nikka rockstar? (Yeah)
This ain't no guitar, bytch, this a Glock (Woo)
My Glock told me to promise you gon' squeeze me (Woo)
You better let me go the day you need me (Woo)
Soon as you up me on that nikka, get to bustin' (Woo, yeah)
And if I ain't enough, go get the chop (Yeah, yeah)

[Verse 2: Roddy Ricch]
Keep a Glocky when I ride in the Suburban
'Cause the codeine had a young nikka swervin'
I got the mop, watch me wash 'em like detergent
And I'm ballin', that's why it's diamonds on my jersey
Slide on opps' side and flip the block back, yeah, yeah
My junior popped him and left him lopsided, yeah, yeah

The average nikka don't give a fukk about billboard ...y'all nikka keep talk about a ceartin " stratosphere" of rappers . You do realize right on the coli Kendricks second was panned here on the coli for being too jazzy and too black ...women didn't say a dam thing. The numbers from most these companies have been proven to be fudged...lil baby has a great song about BLM and nobody said anything but this the song you pick to prop up thoe ....:rudy:

Black men were leaders before rap music was invented and look how the community treated them . I know how my grandfather was treated after he returned from WW2 . Women seem to only want to copy a bunch of negative aspects of men when it comes to feminism....and once again nikkas get pigeonholed into rap and sports and nikkas fall it . It's always going to be a market for women that like getting denigrated ...if it wasn't nikkas would rap about the shyt . It's women prop up Chris brown, Drake , and future etc. 2pac said it himself "if you can sell it to women ...men will follow" . nikkas need to learn that women are dedicated to the GAME ...and not men .
I’m talking about the community in regards to hip hop. Because otherwise most women not out here living negatively or acting ghetto or not wanting or needing a man. Real women are educated and raise their children and are good wives. I don’t associate with none of the other type of women.. the same way I don’t associate with those type of men.

It’s a minority of women who act like this. But that’s the point of the minstrel show, to amplify all our negative stereotypes and give the impression this is how most black people act which is furthest from the truth. Most women not the men hating beings y’all be thinking on this site lol.

Blaming women saying they only rap like that cuz the women want it is a weak excuse cuz we the ones who gave them that shyt with our stereotypical ideas of masculinity that conditioned these minority of women to believe that is what makes a real man. It’s pathetic for men to blame women.

Wait what do you think I am talking about. I was not dogging every rap artist. I am pretty sure my last sentence was that I am not speaking on all rappers :why: We are specifically talking about negative rappers... “That stratosphere “ and that aspect of the music with regards to men and women. I am not demonizing the whole genre and said nothing about that. :why:I pointed out that song as a comparison of two negative mainstream songs. Gangster song vs the hoe song. It’s a specific example how our content is worst

We have a song/video with two of the biggest black female artists with a billionaire Kardashian in the video to a Webbie song from 15 years ago ? This would be the equivalent of Drake and Kendrick Lamar hopping on a track and spitting bars about making p*ssy fart for 3 minutes .

It’s all trash .

if grown women want to thot it up and live their best lives fine ,but don’t try to spin it as a women empowerment thing . Young girls sadly look up to them . That’s my issue with it .The false message it sends

However if you one of those dudes who never had a problem with content of rap over the past few years you look funny being up in arms about this .

Spoken like a feminist. No man I know speaks like this . Our masculinity was I tact before got over to America. Just because white men put black women in charge on purpose dosent men me are at fault . The men at the top ALLOW feminism because they don't want a ceartin type of man to get to the top and change shyt . It by DESIGN if a women want to be strong and independent she don't need a man's protection . Another thing the black "community" is matriarchal it has NEVER been a patriarchy. In the black community women have always ran shyt . I can name 5 Books that tell you have the black community is designed and why ...

If nikkas was so smart y'all would understand WHY stereotypical rap is pushed ....nikkas is stupid in here . It a reason Rhapsody dosent get the same love as Meg and cardi b ....nikkas really is stupid .

Same reason 'conscious' rappers don't get the same love as everyone else. That dynamic doesn't just disappear because you switch genders. The gap in opportunity will just widen.

This whole post is bullshyt.

this what dudes get upset about. When a dude fukk up on some bullshyt we at them. We don’t let him slide or try to convince us it was somebody else’s fault. when women do some fukk shyt it’s the men fault. shyt is absurd.

Simps are so pathetic. You make a statement that they disagree with on this topic and it's "well you just hate women:wrist:".

I have a problem with this song. I have a problem with a lot of the bullshyt in hip hop tho. This song reminds me of Every Girl (which is a disgusting song tbh.) The reason I have a problem WAP than I had with Every Girl is because they are trying and succeeding at peddling this lazy, bullshyt as empowering. shyt is making black women seem like a p*ssy, huge titties, and a fat ass. We have rightfully identified some of this behavior has negative. Now we are trying to package this negativity as positive cause the source is different? Spinning this shyt as a positive for black women is dangerous
