i been a fan of Gobert for 2 years now

Jazz are fukking stupid organization top to bottom

he should be starting
I like duke, even saw him in person the other day, but he's still kinda raw, I think they're doing the right thing by not giving real heavy minutes....

Jazz low key got a core which might finally take off next year....

Was going to neg based on no Robert Sacre but then realized he turned 25 over the offseason. The list is indeed valid.
:wtf: sa
Davis is 240lbs

Here are the weights of starting centers around the league -

Cousins - 270lbs
Drummond - 280-290lbs
Vuccimane - 260lbs
Lopez twins - 275lbs and 255lbs
Asik - 255lbs
Len - 255lbs
M. Gasol - 265lbs (down from 280lbs)
Horford - 250lbs
Valanciunas - 255lbs
Hibbert - 290lbs
Pekovic - 290lbs
Jefferson - 290lbs
Bogut - 260lbs
Adams - 255lbs
Mozgov - 250lbs
Jordan - 265lbs
Len - 255lbs

The outliers Chandler, Gortat, Sanders and Bosh. All of these guys are taller than Davis and Bosh is really a PF playing C to take advantage of mismatches.

Nobody in their right mind wants Davis banging with these 260-290lbs muthafukkas for a full 82 which is why he's a PF and why the Pelicans brought in Asik. This is the same reason Aldridge hates playing center and wanted them to get a center, hence drafting Leonard and signing Lopez, because he's a PF.

Davis has the game of a PF, plays PF, his team views him as a PF so I don't get why you think he's a center.

The Jazz need to figure out what to do with Favors. He is your most valuable piece but he doesn't fit with Kanter like Gobert does. They need a SG but they have Exum. The Jazz are an interesting team.

Since I made the thread the young guys are starting to come around

11pts, 10rebs 5blks in 23 mins
Nurkic has a chance to be a 20/10 big man.

Gobert is already elite defensively, had 13pts 11rebs 6blks in the start.

Good lateral quickness, good mobility, good shot blocker with elite measureables. Has some offensive skill, more skill than D. Jordan or Tyson Chandler. He is going to be a very good NBA center.

Jazz aren't my team though.
But they got a young core that can compete night in and out, but just can't finish...

Aight i get your point. But i still want to see him pay Center because i feel thats where he belongs. Put on weight and make it happen. Big man this agile should be a rim-protecting C in my opinion. Just saying i'd convert him to Center and let him abuse these slower 5s out there

You gotta bang if you have the ability to get buckets down there. Otherwise yall gon have an early playoff exit, while aldridge does his kevin durant impersonation from the perimeter
Yeah but their game plan is inside out. He makes his oney off of getting guys in foul trouble, getting to the line, then kicking back out to open guys on the perimeter because he becomes impossible to stop at times. I guess I do smh my head sometimes why he doesn't just take it to the hole more often because he has no problem finishing, but he just likes his signature style of play of shooting midrange and now the 3.....

I've come to realize his midrange game can be streaky, sometimes dude is unstoppable, than other nights he's kinda off, but he's no Josh Smith....

But like I mentioned, when robin Lopez plays he cleans up boards and does a lot of banging...

Put it like this if Lopez was healthy there would have been a mismatch for hawk set. Millsap would have had to guard either LMA or Lopez who are both 7ft skilled big man....

The way trillsap and horford were abusing the paint is the same way Lopez or LMA would have taken advantage of trillsap being undersized.
