OK, he plays next to Asik who guards centers.

So :camby:
Anthony Davis is definitely a PF. Hornets made it their mission to find a center so that he doesn't have to play that position because they don't want him taking that kind of pounding from guarding and being guarded by centers night in night out. That would be like saying KG was a center just cause he had a centers size.

EDIT: Nevermind read more of the thread and realize you agree.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I agree

And this dude got next :whoo:

Yeah he was 7'0" with a 7'4.5" wingspan at Nike Sklls Academy, he's been known since he was in 7th grade :russ:

That link got him playing against that old looking kid

The #1 ranked 2017 prospect DeAndre Ayton battled with elite 2016 Udoka Azubuike tonight as Balboa City & Potters House matched up. Ayton finished with a game-high 23 points, 20 rebounds while Azubike posted 20 points and 11 rebounds.

I still say it's a luxury just like Spurs and Duncan

Davis is 240lbs

Here are the weights of starting centers around the league -

Cousins - 270lbs
Drummond - 280-290lbs
Vuccimane - 260lbs
Lopez twins - 275lbs and 255lbs
Asik - 255lbs
Len - 255lbs
M. Gasol - 265lbs (down from 280lbs)
Horford - 250lbs
Valanciunas - 255lbs
Hibbert - 290lbs
Pekovic - 290lbs
Jefferson - 290lbs
Bogut - 260lbs
Adams - 255lbs
Mozgov - 250lbs
Jordan - 265lbs
Len - 255lbs

The outliers Chandler, Gortat, Sanders and Bosh. All of these guys are taller than Davis and Bosh is really a PF playing C to take advantage of mismatches.

Nobody in their right mind wants Davis banging with these 260-290lbs muthafukkas for a full 82 which is why he's a PF and why the Pelicans brought in Asik. This is the same reason Aldridge hates playing center and wanted them to get a center, hence drafting Leonard and signing Lopez, because he's a PF.

Davis has the game of a PF, plays PF, his team views him as a PF so I don't get why you think he's a center.

Jersey
1. Marc Gasol
2. Boogie
3. Dwight
4. Bosh
5. Chandler / Horford / Jefferson

Okay. Since you tend to value offensive skill in your bigs, why do you have Dwight over Horford and Jefferson when they are much better post players?

Because Dwight is one of the best interior defenders in the league, just cause I don't like his offensive game much doesn't mean I'm going to rank him poorly, he can shut down the lane and that is bigger than what Jefferson and Horford can give you.

This year Boogie has taken a step on defense, and when you combine that with his offense I place him above Dwight.

Drummond has without doubt elite defensive potential

His offensive game is still :scusthov: to me, no matter how many post moves he developed, no defense will gameplan against him anytime soon.

His shooting mechanics are awful beyond repair, and his passing skills are Yinka Dare status

(Only 3 players with an assist this year have a worse AST%) :scusthov: :scusthov:

He will never be a #1 or even a #2 option on offense on a contending team

Gotcha. I notice you placed Chandler and some others Noah among others. Has Noah regressed this year? because he was damn near a MVP candidate last season.

Noah's been battling injuries all season and coming off a knee surgery

Hes just not there yet (although hes starting to look better)

I applaud him for taking a step back offensively and letting Pau eat
