Love later told a police detective “he had too many things going on in his life and too much pressure. He said he deals with voices. Lloyd said he is ‘fed up.'”

Love said he had only worked at the security company for three or four days but he was not allowed to be armed because he’s a convicted felon. He said his job was to watch the “forever 21 store at the Flat Iron mall.”

So many red flags...

R.I.P. to the boss.

If I killed someone every time my paycheck was short, I’d be King Von out here.

Small business owners should stop doing paper checks tho cuz even if the check is short, at least the employee will have some money in the bank to keep them calm.

I bet this dude doesn’t even have a bank account tho. He probably the type who wants a physical check.

Exactly and I bet that’s the issue.

Also it says his check wasn’t paid cause his initials were wrong so I agree cause at least with direct deposit he’d had his routing number and his checking account number as validation

I was about to go in on dude until I seen that he was a legit schizophrenic smh..with that being said, he still deserves the death penalty. He was sane enough to have a normal job & even realized he fukked up after shooting his boss so fukk’em :manny:

Mental institutions are horrible places, but we may need them again. I don't know how we can make them more humane, but some of these people should not be interacting with the general public and need a place to go.

I used to work in a place that was meant for people with Alzheimer’s but most of the people there had a host of other mental issues , or they had drug/alcohol induced dementia and they ranged in age from 35 to 103 honestly the only way for it to be humane is for the patients to be chemically restrained.

We were against chemical restraints so we dealt with so much abuse from mentally ill patients constantly refusing their meds and we couldn’t put medication in food or drinks without their consent so without meds they were constantly attacking staff, attacking other patients, attacking visitors. We were constantly short staffed because we had a really high turnover rate because nobody ever wanted work.

I honestly think a diagnosis of BPD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, psychotic disorders etc should come with a conservatorship that will make decisions for them when they aren’t taking their medications.
