You're slowly being more emotional. Your 'take' is nonsensical and the hypothetical is EXACTLY why he's not getting a heart. His immune system will be shut down, during a pandemic, in a hospital, unvaccinated.
The heart should go to someone with a better chance of survival and you need to stop trying to 'win' an argument about the morality of the TRAINED PHYSICIAN'S OPINION concerning a hypocrite who doesn't want the best chance to live.
Ol' "We don't know the long term effects"-ass .

We know you can die from COVID in a couple days to a week, especially in his condition.
-Your stupidity is actually quite impressive. It's an opinion based discussion, there's no winning or losing. It also has nothing to do with morality or the decision. You wrote a bunch more irrelevant shyt for no reason.
.....Muhfukkas really just want to hear themselves talk
-They do. You just showed us.

This is the end result of the cia directed integrationism program, broken homes and mentally deficient black kids and adults begging for government segregation.

:why:

Do these folk understand that It's a heart transplant.. you're gonna have to get vacced for a bunch of stuff before it and then take a cocktail of anti rejection drugs afterward.

Do these folk understand there ain't enough donated organs to go around for the medical system to just be potentially wasting them

and why is this even a story

The problem is that anti-vaxxers feel they should be allowed to participate within our society without following rules/regulations necessary to keep that society functional and healthy.

They want to be victims, but no one with any sense is buying it.

Y'all are missing the point , its whats next or whats the precedent this sets :jbhmm:

Should someone who's obese ( which is a majority of america ) never get on a transplant list , because they are high risk for heart disease and diabetes
Should someone who has cancer run in the family not get on a transplant list :gucci:

Should a prior drug addict not get on a list because of possible relapse

Should someone who has a risky hobby like climbing or some shyt get pushed to the of back of line at a hospital

It doesn't set ANY precedents because vaccination is a REQUIREMENT for transplants as is weight loss, abstaining from smoking, abstaining from alcohol, cancer treatability, etc.

If you're not a good candidate, they either delay the surgery until you are, or, remove you from the list.

Coli doctors at it again

“New research from Johns Hopkins specialists suggests that obese kidney disease patients face not only the usual long odds of a tissue match and organ rejection, but also are significantly less likely than normal-weight people to receive a kidney transplant at all.

The Johns Hopkins study results, to be published online this Wednesday in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, reveal that morbidly obese patients (those who on average weigh 100 pounds more than their ideal weight) are on the transplant waiting list for a median of five years - two years more than the median wait time for a patient of normal weight.

Because patients tend to get sicker the longer they wait on dialysis, obese patients are 44 percent less likely than normal-weight patients to ever receive a kidney transplant, the researchers report. Each year, 8 percent of the patients on the list die waiting for a kidney.”

Obese Patients Wait Longer for Kidney Transplants, Research Suggests - 12/19/2007

this is from 2007. Being obese has BEEN a reason why someone may not qualify for a transplant. Just like being up to date on your vaccines has BEEN a requirement.

You dumb asses come in here trying to sound smart but always end up looking dumb as hell.

Not a great argument.

This guy is showing a clear lack of critical thinking skills. His heart is bad, covid can fukk up your heart. The vaccine will increase your odds of avoiding serious illness. And this man said "nah I'm good" to the thing that would increase his chances of not dying. If they give him a heart transplant and he catches covid and dies, what will you tell the person who was vaccinated and wanted that heart? and they already refuse transplants to people who refuse to quit drinking or smoking, if anything they have a harder time since they can't just stop.

Dude literally just had to take the shot. The doctors said "you'd be safe if you did" and he said "nah". If you've ever worked in health care you understand how extremely frustrating people can be. You get to the point where you have to basically say "Okay, I respect your choice in how you want to live, and also how you want to die. This is just not negotiable. You either take what we're offering you, or we will give it to someone else who will" and that's the end of the discussion. Organs, medical care, and medicine itself isn't like T-shirts mass produced at costco or fast food. It is a scarce resource at the best of times and every year you're expected to do more with less. Doctors, nurses, social workers, etc. do not have time to argue with people who think they know better when there are at least a dozen others who are ready to do what it takes without issue.
