The problem is the insurance companies....they the ones jacking the rates up...if you qualify for cost sharing reductions on silver plans, you will get them. It's based on gross income and household size. And bronze, silver, and gold plans all offer the same services...only difference is premium and deductible/copayments.

Mfs call in making 5K a month crying about paying 200-300$ ...mfs just crybabies. I be glad when it get repealed or whatever

It is the insurance companies and how it was written. I wish the Dems fought harder and didn't allow the bs in. As far as the bolded, change the bolded to making $2000 a month and paying $300 a month after the credit, it's more accurate. And that's just with one person. I don't know anyone making $5000 a month or closer that pays that little. Making that much you don't even qualify for credits that would make it that low, at least not in Pennsylvania. And that $300 plan would be the plan above the catastrophe plan, the silver plan that allows you to see the doctor for annual exams and a few sick days. I know I had it. Once I got a better job with work benefits and compared the price with Obamacare I really saw how it really isn't affordable. And let's not forget that paying insurance through your job, at least mine, comes out pre-tax.

Most people who I know just wanted reform and not repealed. With the high costs of living, add on healthcare premiums and it's just ridiculous. People are having trouble paying bills, I wouldn't call them crybabies. I went through it, i had Obamacare and I can honestly say it was too expensive, a pain in the butt, and the plans got worse the following year.

I definitely won't say I can't wait until it's repealed. That's some cutting off your nose to spite your face stuff. Despite the idiots, there are many good, hardworking people on Obamacare who have no other option. It may not be perfect but it's definitely better than nothing. I'd hate to see people suffer unnecessarily, remember there are many democrats who are middle class and lower working class who would be affected. Many of whom are black.

Always said Republicans are great at marketing.

They truly are since they are the best at controlling the language within the political discourse. It all started with karl Rove since he mastered it in my mind. That flip flopper slogan they used on kerry was the most annoying thing ever. He also turned "liberal" into a pejorative term.

When GWB started getting heat for not slowing down outsourcing they came up with "economic isolationist" to slander anyone who was against it. Next thing you know you have disenfranchised whites using the term to defend their party even though they are the ones being affected by it

Obamacare main flaw is it Pocket checks instead of just going across the board. Let everyone in the US pay $25 and Stop it with the "you make too much to get a break" you pay $700 a month........You, you're broke well we can set you up for damn near free or with the cheapest plan oh and here are some vouchers, here you go.......

I remember watching this and realizing most people don't know what the fukk they are talking about and base their decisions solely on emotion instead of logic.

If I was the head of a major news corporation, I'd be sitting back smiling...like, "yup, we REALLY are making them believe whatever we want"
