And they make a damn sight more than 40k a year i'll tell you that. Making 40k a year and qualifying as a "decent living" depends on your living situation. If you're single, no kids, and live out in the boondocks where housing/rent is really cheap, then I guess you can make a decent living, if you call livng out in the sticks decent. While you can't really trust nobody, the odds are very low some hungry azz nikkaz you are putting on are going to rob you from an opportunity you give them.
