Quite the opposite. In the real world you will encounter people you don’t like and don’t agree with. Part of being a functional adult in society is figuring out how to be in the presence of stuff you don’t agree with and not act like a child about it.
part of being an adult is also not confusing discomfort with bigotry. :francis:

Maybe you need to look up what bigotry is if you think saying you’re uncomfortable around a person because of their sexuality or gender isn’t being a bigot.

You seem to want to dress it up in terms that you think make it sound presentable. You are still looking at another human and judging them disapproving then saying you’re not comfortable around them because of that judgment. That’s a text book bigot.

Textbook bigot?
Look the word up?

bigotry:
the fact of having and expressing strong, unreasonable beliefs and disliking other people who have different beliefs or a different way of life

I think it's YOU who needs to look shyt up
I don't express any strong BELIEFS about anything Trans-related.
I'm not even saying I dislike such people.

It is YOU who said you don't support their way of life, not me.

do I have opinions about them, yes I do, but it doesn't go beyond why surgery when you could just be a tomboy.

But they do want a voice, and I don't want to end up in HR, and a brolic dude wearing lipstick and makeup at the office might make me want to walk the other way in hallways yes.
It's not hatred though, that's what you just don't get.
I know myself, if I have eye-contact with that person, my reaction would go either way.
And also if I avoid eye contact that also could get me in trouble.

Dude, choose your battles in life.
Arguing that discomfort equates to bigotry just means you are a tool of the elite.

The primary element of social control is the strategy of distraction which is to divert public attention from important issues and changes determined by the political and economic elites, by the technique of flood or flooding continuous distractions and insignificant information... - Noam Chomsky

For those people calling me a transphobic or homophobic let me tell you a story.

I once had a debate with a gay guy.
I was like yo, being gay is a choice, if you choose to be with another man that's your choice.
His response to me was "do you remember your first crush, did you decide to like her or did it just happened? What about the girls after her, was it a decision to like them?"

I was like fukk, he's right. I lost that argument.

So for ya'll to say i'm phobic, remember I did not choose to be in a state of discomfort. It just happens.
Maybe ya'll manphobic.

OP started the OP like this

"She started yesterday. I decided I would ask her out right away. Just cause she used to be named Jamal..."

Then he started over

Now he's taking "get your money Mane. Don't let the tranny fukc up your bread" he's taking that as "its 2020 Breh. If she says she's a.woman who are you to argue. Go ahead and ask her out. Its the mature thing"

I’ve worked with trans people. Never bothered me. Never sought out advice on how to deal with them either. They’re people and their presence doesn’t cause me any mental discomfort. I don’t agree with their way of life but it’s their choice and I support them having it.

You clearly feel strong enough about it for it to have an impact on you causing discomfort as you put it.

You can dress that up however you want. I’ve never in my life had to seek out guidance on how to simply tolerate the presence of another human being in a professional setting without getting myself fired from my job because of any mental discomfort caused by just being around them.
