Man, I gotta say it, but the amount of HDD space required on PS4 is a joke :pacspit:

I never have problems with space and have damn near every big release that has dropped in digital

If I haven't played it in a month or two it gets deleted. Stop hoarding game data and keep your saves, problem solved.

Just delete an older game?? This isn't a problem specific to PS4, this happens on anything. If the game you're playing is big, you need space. Hardly something surprising. If you want to play all those games without a disc, get a bigger HD and buy them digitally.

Get a Hybrid drive for better load times. Max is 1TB at the moment, but there might be a 2TB version coming soon.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
uncharted FINALLY arrived via amazon and I go and put this piff in, and of course I cannot play it cuz my hard drive is full.

I swear that shyt is ALWAYS full. and its only cuz of the games. and if a game is installing 50+GB on my HDD, why do I still need the disc to play it????

after like 5 or 6 games, I gotta go in and delete the damn game off the HDD. why can't I rotate between GTA V, 2k16, MGS V, uncharted collection, R&C, the division, and batman arkham knight with reckless abandon???? :wtf:

and whats even crazier is that even with these massive installs, the games still load at times.

I could understand a 1GB-10GB install for each game. but they are pissing me off with 50-60GB these days :ucku:
i didn't want to do it... but what's the biggest HD you can buy for this shyt

i got the same issue.... same fukking games too.... and i'm sitting here like "damn i want to get uncharted and maybe ufc"

then i realize i'll have to delete 2-3 games from my hard drive that i already play... not even counting the ps plus games i already had to delete...

then when i want to play one of those deleted games 2 days later, i'll have to wait on an install AND all the patch downloads...

who in the entire fukk even came up with this nonsense... either play off the fukking cd or make bigger drives... they had to know this shyt going in

There's a 1TB SSHD that seagate has only cost about $77 :jbhmm:
Yeah one thing to keep in mind is that seagate sucks, but I personally have 3 of those drives and haven't had an issue. I think newegg has it the cheapest with a coupon and no tax in most states.
