I doubt the NBA will change.

Disney's money is too long.

They got ESPN and ABC.

ESPN will still show NBA games but I don't see them letting in NBC which competes with ABC

But if NBC wanted to make a paradigm shift and pay the NBA to move to the NBC sports network :krs:

This thread isn't about the the actual GAMES though, we're talking about the presentation of NBA on NBC. I think everybody universally will agree that during the Lakers 1st 3-peat the league was in a down spiral until the 03 draft class came through and resurrected the league.

i remember when they left nbc for abc/espn. it was crazy because nbc had arena football looking more official than the nba gams on abc.

i also remember being :wtf: at abc showing one game on sundays and the cutting to stuff like formula-1 racing.

Comcast owns 51% of NBC. If anyone has the resources and power to give ABC/Disney a run for their money for NBA rights, it's Comcast.

I remember when a young Shaq broke his first NBA basket. There was like a 20 minutes delay for them to put up a new one. It was nothing but jokes from Costas, Vescey, Walton, and Albert.

Marv was so legendary with his "YES." NBA Live incoporated into the games.
