Same. I have actually tried to collect a lot of them over the years. Death Row was the king of them, particularly 2Pac with I Ain’t Mad at Cha. Domino redid his entire album and Cube redid a lot of Lethal Injection for the clean versions.
I actually think the reversing was worse as it took up more of the track. Many songs were unlistenable no matter how it was done.
I always thought Sweet Potato Pie clean was better than the explicit version.

Completely agree. I had the clean tape as a kid and then bought the explicit CD, not realizing. This DJ by Warren G is another one I think was better.

It's insane that in this era with streaming that artists don't rerecord singles with clean lyrics. Basically would be caking off of both the clean single and the unedited one.
