not really about that for me. i just think realistic is better. not some happy fantasy and but being able to picture the actual world you live if these characters really existed. thats why the the first superman was so dope. it was some regular day to day shyt, and they dropped superman in it

superman would never work with that fantasy shyt because his whole shyt is dependent on him being the fantasy. like i said its not even about him at all, its about the reaction of the world to him. nobody would be impressed with superman in a fantastic world

I always hated Superman because a lot of the comics were based around him having no adversity, no worthy challenges or adversaries.. shyt was meh status.
