TBH, I'd prefer not to. Having Clark as a reporter works better with a more campy Superman. Although if they made him a freelance reporter covering all around the world that would be pretty cool.
It has to happen in this or the sequel they can't just skip that.

Yea I feel you. Having Clark as a reporter is sorta essential,but the whole glasses as a disguise was always
to me. Which is why I brought up the freelance or traveling reporter. Which might not fit well with the Superman Universe, but I think it fits well with a more realistic Superman. Which of course is a oxymoron itself but you know what I mean.
I know it's been confirmed that Easter eggs revealing the existence of a certain heroes alter egos day job are in the movie. And even a mention of a certain hairless villain
