Actually yeah, that's exactly what happened. Superman pretty much just knocks Doomsday into a coma and "dies" in the process. You find out like the Very next issue that Doomsday is still alive.

I am not sure how well you know superman but he has killed multiple times throughout his history. He has killed sun eaters, humans, the anti-monitor, darkseid's para demons and he even killed Zod before.

In the cartoons, a superman from another dimension killed lex. He even killed green arrow and Wonder Woman in a what-if comic which isn't canon but it helps to set the precedent of him killing.

I still don't see how you can kill a Kryptonian with a neck snap. You can stop bullets and bombs but your spine is weak as a human.

it actually shows how POWERFUL superman is. his strength is unlimited. like i said, even faora noticed he puts a restraint on himself.

watch again and you see a power burst when he did it. it wasn't that easy as it appeared.

It was pretty obvious seeing that Supes could fly and all the others were jumping. The only reason the fight against the girl and the big guy was so close, was because Supes never threw a punch in his life, and they were all trained soldiers.

So daddy didn't want Clark to expose his powers to save the dog, well he really didn't have to..dad made it fine over to the car to free the dog. Maybe he wanted to go out like a G during an F5 Idk...but also..during a tornado who the fukk would've noticed Clark saving a dog anyway. Too much chaos to focus on some shyt like that. Poorly done scene IMO but movie was still dope.

Superman has never killed Doomsday. Unless you're talking about that bullshyt direct to DVD cartoon that heavily panned by damn near everybody.

Man, Zod got the same thing treatment in Superman 2. Everybody trying to pretend that Superman didn't make Zod mortal and threw that nikka in the ice bushes. Zod wasn't a threat when they killed him back then. Supes could've put dude in jail. On top of that, Lois Lane caught a body too when she threw Faora in the pit. Snyder made it justifiable.

movie was dope. felt like these dudes were actual aliens, (or highly evolved humans). Just the ambiance of Kal showing up in front of the military like "hey, Im the alien they've been looking for" gheesh. They did a good job of making his suit feel otherworldly
