if the ship blocked out the sun's radiation, what would be the point of Jor El changing the ship to earth's atmosphere he should still be powerless.
shyt was just dumb.

The ships settings were so they could breathe. It was their oxygen settings. But that still wouldn't make sense because he could always breathe in space. That whole plot angle was just plain dumb. The only thing Jor-El could've done was allow radiation to pass through the ship. And when superman first boarded the ship Zod didn't know about his powers at that point. He even asked the humans to hand him over like they had the ability to stop him.

Finally saw this, and I fukks with it. Ive always hated superman because I envisioned him as perfect and boring.

This movie was able to humanize him and make him somewhat relatable. Action was a plus.

I know i probably like it for all the wrong reasons to like a superman movie,but then again, I dont really like superman.

Cant wait for the sequel.

no shyt, I was responding to the guy's theory that the sun's radiation was being blocked inside the ship.
the whole krypton environment thing contradicts everything we know about superman and his relation the yellow sun
which is why this movie is a mess.

If the inside of the ship was simulating Krypton's red sun radiation then it would not contradict anything.

It was simulating the atmosphere. That's why he was having trouble breathing. He had to take time to adjust just like Zod had to adjust to earths atmosphere.

It honestly seemed like an excuse to take away Superman's powers even And give Russel Crowe more screen time.. and Give Louis Lane a reason to be on the ship.


As a baby superman had breathing problems and they didn't take him to hospital once? The Kents were fukked up parents.

I think you mixed up Zod's ship with the one buried in Ice. Jor El said that was sent 18,000 years ago or w.e by Krypton because they were scouting planets. He then said he designed Zod's ship

Seems like he ages like a normal human when you look at his age when he arrives on earth relative to the people around him like Lana, Lex, Pete & his parents

But after his adult stage seems like he stops aging

There's a point at which logical leaps and fallacies cross over into bad storytelling that even the average person or the viewer with their mind shut down can't ignore, and that detracts from the viewing experience.

Zod and Faora saved this movie and they didn't get enough screen time. The whole build up from the time Krypton was destroyed to when Zod showed up was Then Zod just stayed on the ship most of the time. They would've been better off sticking to the comics and sent Zod back to the phantom zone and set up for a sequel when Zod would come back with a vengence. I swear these directors have no fukking imagination. A nikka like Nolan and Snyder are so full of themselves and get so caught up on visuals that they give no fukks about he PLOT DETAILS.
