You're exactly right. His telekinetic aura also keeps whatever he is holding from collapsing in on itself. For example try to hold up an apple on a needle without the needle piercing the apple.....can't happen. Same thing with Superman picking up an airplane or giant ship.....he would go through it or it would fall apart in his hands without the telekinetic aura. This also explains why Superboy has limited telekinetic abilities since he's a partial clone of Superman.

Just explaining it how they do in the comic. You gotta suspend belief for all this stuff. From Batman to the Hulk you know as well as I do it's all crazy, but they try to add their own little bit of science to it. I choose not to think too hard about it when it's explained. I just nod my head and keep going. This is the same reason Jason Voorhees could catch Usain Bolt on a straight way to freedom.....just don't think too hard.

Can't judge a movie on a minute and change trailer. I liked the teaser seeing him fly at the end was dope. I've liked all of Snyder's movies even Sucker Punch (for reasons I won't discuss )

they should take the batman approach in exploring the origin of villians while just having supes show up to save lives/fight crime/battle.There is nothing more to know about superman hes got some dope villians never seen on screen cause they've had a hadron for luthor and zod for centuries.Lets change that
