Still looking to steal like the past execs in superman at warner. That would have goven us a mechanical spider and nick coppola wrongly cast as superman. Where said exec was still meddling. To the ppint will smith film career as a blockbuster actor was ruined. As the dumb ass mechanical spider from wild wild west from superman by burton starring nick coppola that was shelved. So we don't know how the execs ruined superman under snyder. As their executive meddling ruined donner, in superman i. To a shelved reboot of burton supes with nepotism nick coppola. That ruined will smith in wild wild west. Plus ruined the past dcu as well.

So we will probably have to wait. Till they put out the documentary on why the dcu failed. Just like we had to wait. For the documentary on the donner cut. To sell the release of the superior donner cut. The documentary on wild wild west. The documentary on burton and nepotism nick copola as batman.

As wb has made a profit meddling and then fukking up the ip. Then using the documentary of them meddling. To turn a small profit.
by monetization on their meddling via documentaries. Including relaunches of the original long version of director's original intended vision.

when or if you view the original snyder cut of justice league. You will be completely surprised. At how great a film it is. Plus one of the definitive team anything in dc's while filmography. Snyder was wrongly scapegoated.

The musical score was great (Hanz Zimmer da Gawd), and some of the action pieces looked cool but way out of character, Gunn's movie was lacking in a few things but felt more like a genuine Superman Movie than M.O.S. I give snyder props for the Krypton stuff, but depressed dejected Superman with no reporter Kent and casually not caring for saving people and the destruction of the city was far off the mark of what the character is supposed to be.

Cavill looked the part but felt Robotic, stiff emotionally not available like a psycho who grew up without friends and that's not on Cavills acting cause we seen him show charm, swag emotion in a few spy flicks he has done like Mission impossible and the man from u.c.l.e so the blame goes to Snyder's depressive ass. Common letting his father die stupid premise.

Again. We don't know what execs manipulated in the past dcu.

As i have said previously. Execs at wb have meddled in every iteration of superman. To possibly try to shave residuals off a title. They shoud not have been given residuals as a creator on.
They have a number of documentaries on this.

I urge you all to watch them. If ypu want to really become possibly informed in some manner.

They Had to meddle , Snyder wanted to make the Amazon's and the Greek Pantheon Kryptonian descendants. The visuals was great, the score was great, the action was cool but it didn't feel like a Superman flick. They fumbled General Zod by making him emotional and not tactical. He is typically portrayed in the comics and cartoons as a cold calculating strategist.

The first Shazam flick felt more like a genuine portrayal of a DC character even without Black Adam. Could have been classics if the Rock didn't meddle and cockblock appearing in the movies.

To be fair to Snyder in one thing, in the comics they always portray the Kryptonians as so arrogant they are damn near retarded.

So Zod being an idiot who gets his ass kicked by a scientist and a farmer tracks and so does the Kryptonians ignoring the destruction of their planet because they’ve eugenic’d themselves stupid.

I agree the animated series had the best explanation that Brainiac tricked them.


That said Kryptonians knowingly gaining super strength under yellow sun has never made sense. You’d have an entire race with the power of the New Gods which would make them more powerful than the Lantern Corps and all they would need to do is absorb yellow sunlight for a few years. Like Superman is confirmed immortal and will become effectively a God in a million years.

So essentially every Kryptonian having this potential is illogical and takes away from Superman being special. It should be surviving the radiation of the destruction of Krypton altered Superman’s physiology so he could absorb yellow sunlight and this was an unintended consequence.

Zod should be a genetically engineered soldier around 100 ton class but not approaching Superman unless he gets a power boost.

Also Earth One/mainlinr Superman should always be the strongest version of the character. None of this Superboy Prime crap.

I try to be fair cause this is popcorn entertainment.

Just like I know over 90 years of a character’s adventures are going to be contradictions and misremembering of canon. Snyder, Singer, Nolan got 2 and half hours to put together a story so I’m find with Kryptonians getting acclimated fast so we can have a fight.

My problem comes when the writing contradicts itself. We already have Krypton’s destruction done multiple ways…Snyder wants to do it a new way…okay…sees the writing problem…man you really made a bigger mess for no reason.

Pa Kent has died before…Snyder wants to do it by tornadoes…okay…sees writing problem…I’m not sure how this is an improvement.

Like I have no problem with taking new ways to solve a math problem but it there’s shorter ways and you go the long way you better be able to arrive at the right conclusion cause otherwise it feels like a waste of time for something that already had an answer worked out for you

Top 10 Superhero movie to me. 9/10. Only things I didn't really like were Pa Kent got merked for no reason, and they destroyed... DESTROYED the city. Not sure what the scale would be if he caught a stronger villain, planets would straight up have to blow up.

on opening thursday and loved it.
