They had already done Batman vs Superman, Superman's death, Darkseid, Justice League and hinted at Injustice. They did a bunch of shyt that didn't work for multiple reasons.

Not about all of them making a billy. its about how recently and which which characters. Selling a billion in 2023 and also rebooting your franchise in 2023 doesn't make sense to me. Having a superman movie sell better prior to reboot than post reboot should also be concerning. Superman v Batman sold more than Superman and the Justice Gang
